You can set up email notifications so that users in your organization are informed about important events related to your VMware Cloud Services subscriptions.

Prerequisites

You have the Distributor Administrator role in your organization.

Procedure

  1. On the VMware Cloud Partner Navigator toolbar, click Administration > Notification.
  2. To add a new notification group, click Add.
  3. Complete the New Notification Group wizard.
    1. Enter a notification group name.
    2. (Optional) Enter a notification group description.
    3. From the Language drop-down menu, select the language of the email notifications.
    4. In the Email Addresses text box, enter the email addresses of the users you want to add to the notification group.
    5. In the Preferences section, select the check boxes of the events that you want to notify the group about.
    6. Click Save.

Results

The new notification group is added to your list of notification groups in Administration > Notification.

Users who are part of the notification group will receive email notifications about the events you selected in the Preferences settings.

What to do next

  • To edit the settings of a notification group:
    1. In the card of the notification group you want to edit, click View.
    2. To start editing one of the sections of the settings, click Edit.
    3. Make your changes and click Save.
  • To delete a notification group:
    1. In the card of the notification group you want to edit, click Delete.
    2. To confirm the deletion, click Delete.
