What to do next

In VMware Cloud Director, if the cell gets rebooted, in VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager, the status of this cell remains displaying a Maintenance message. You must manually deactivate the maintenance mode using the VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager UI.

To deactivate the maintenance mode status of the VMware Cloud Director cell, from the Manage drop-down menu of the product card, select Manage nodes, select the check boxes of the cells, and click Disable Maintenance.

Note: If you update the management certificate of the VMware Cloud Director instance where the cell resides, VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager deactivates the maintenance mode on the cell. See the Known Issues section in the VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager 1.6 Release Notes.
