What to do next

  • If the imported user is a member of a group and you want to enable VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager to discover and map the group to the user, you must also import the group. After the first login of the imported user, the appliance maps the user to the respective group. See Import a Group From an External Authentication Source to VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager.
  • To login to VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager using the imported user, on the VMware Cloud Provider Lifecycle Manager login screen, select the external authentication source and enter the credentials of the imported user.
