Download service provider metadata from the Workspace ONE Access server for use in configuring AD FS.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the tenant administrator credentials for the Workspace ONE Access server. VMware creates a tenant administrator account for you on the Workspace ONE Access server, and provides you with a link allowing you to reset the password. The link is valid for only 24 hours, so you should reset the pasword promptly after receiving it.

Procedure

  1. On the computer on which your AD FS server is deployed, open a web browser and go to the tenant URL provided to you by VMware.
  2. Select the Catalog > Virtual Apps tab.

    To display configuration options for the selected app, click the Settings button on the Catalog > Web Apps tab.
  3. Click Settings and then select SAML Metadata.
  4. Under the SAML Metadata section, click the Service Provider (SP) Metadata link to download sp.xml file. Right-click in the window and select Save as to save the contents to a .xml file on your computer.
    Note: The file should be accessible from the location where AD FS will be configured.
