Adding a Content Library allows users to quickly and easily begin deploying templates into their cloud SDDC.

This task will walk you through the steps of adding a pre-created Content Library, which should only be used with the Evaluation Guide.

  1. Login to your SDDC’s vSphere Client
  2. Click ‘Menu’
  3. Select ‘Content Libraries’
  4. Click the ‘Add’ symbol
  5. Name the Content Library ‘vExpert-Content-Library’
  6. Click ‘Next’
  7. Select ‘Subscribed content library’
  8. Paste the following URL into the ‘Subscription URL’:
    • library/lib.json
  9. For the ‘Download Content’ entry, select ‘Immediately’
  10. Click ‘NEXT’
  11. Accept the SSL thumbprint of the certificate by clicking ‘YES’
  12. Select ‘WorkloadDatastore’
  13. Click ‘NEXT’
  14. Click ‘FINISH’
