If you encounter problems when accessing the vCenter Server through your network, troubleshoot your routing issues by performing the following:
- DNS test: Resolve the vCenter Server FQDN and ensure that the IP address is private.
- Ping test: Issue a ping test from the host machine accessing the vCenter Server to the vCenter Server private IP address.
- Trace route: Issue a trace route from the host machine to the vCenter Server IP address and ensure that the routing path follows the expected network topology to reach the SDDC.
- Validate firewall rules: Verify for any firewall rules between the host machine and the SDDC within your network that might be blocking the routing request.
