Create network segments to configure the following networks:

  • DMZ network: An intermediate network between VMware Cloud on Dell and the Internet. It connects the incoming interfaces, StoreFront, and DMZ load balancer.
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops management network: A dedicated network for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops components. All Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops virtual machines (VMs) except StoreFront are hosted on this network.
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops user workload network: A dedicated network for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and published applications.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Cloud Services Console at https://console.cloud.vmware.com/csp/gateway/discovery.
  2. Launch the VMware Cloud on Dell service.
  3. Open NSX Manager.
  4. Click Add Segment.
  5. Add the following network segments:
    • Enter the DMZ network segment name.

      For example, enter sddc-cgw-citrix-dmz.

    • Enter the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops management network segment name.

      For example, enter sddc-cgw-citrix-mgmt.

    • Enter the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops user workload network segment name.

      For example, enter sddc-cgw-citrix-desktops.

  6. Click Save.
