Connect to vCenter Through Your Network

You can connect to vCenter through your network by the setting up the gateway firewall rules.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that the physical uplink connection and the IP addresses are configured.
• Ensure that the vCenter IP address is reachable from the host machine located within your network.

Procedure

1. Set Up the Management Gateway Firewall Rules.
2. Open the vCenter Server using the IP address.
