If you already have deployed VMware Cloud Foundation instances, you can register these with VMware Cloud in order to view your workload domains in the VMC Console.

Install the VMware Cloud Gateway Appliance

Install the VMware Cloud Gateway in a location that has network access to the the vCenter Server instances that you will be registering. Complete the installation as described in Installing and Configuring VMware Cloud Gateway.

Note: Due to resource constraints on the VMware Cloud Gateway, you cannot use a single instance of the VMware Cloud Gateway both to register Cloud Foundation workloads and for Hybrid Linked Mode. If you are already using an instance of the VMware Cloud Gateway for Hybrid Linked Mode, install a second instance.

Register the Cloud Gateway Appliance to VMware Cloud

Register the VMware Cloud Gateway to a VMware Cloud organization to allow communication of data to the VMware Cloud Console.

Note: After you have registered the VMware Cloud Gateway with a particular organization, there is no way to change that organization from the appliance.
