Viewing Infrastructure Policies

As a DSM administrator, use the DSM console to view infrastructure policies available in your environment.

Prerequisites

A vSphere administrator has created infrastructure policies in the vSphere DSM plugin. For information, see Configuring VMware Data Services Manager in the vSphere Client.

Procedure

1. Click Infrastructure Policies in the left navigation pane.

   This actions displays the Infrastructure Policies view that you use to review available policies.

2. Click the policy to view.

   This action displays the Summary tab.

3. Expand each section to review policy details.

   You can see CPU, memory, storage policies, IP pool, VM classes, and other resources associated with this infrastructure policy.

4. Click the Databases tab.

   On the tab, you can review the databases associated with this infrastructure policy and their details.
