To define the file system content for your predefined settings, copy the files you want to include into the correct locations.

Procedure

  1. Start the VMware Dynamic Environment Manager Management Console.
  2. Select the application you want to configure and open the Predefined Settings tab.
  3. Click Add in the bottom right corner of the tab.
    The Create Predefined Setting window appears.
  4. Select the type of predefined settings.
  5. Click Create.
    The Profile Archive Settings folder opens.
  6. Copy and paste the preconfigured files and folders into the Profile Archive Settings folder. The sub-folders shown here correspond with the folder tokens, and the Home folder is the equivalent of the user's home directory. For more information, see Folder Tokens.
  7. (Optional) For registry settings, edit the Flex Profiles.reg file, located in the Registry folder and add content between the Pre and Post import markers.
  8. Click Done and click Save.
