Host Activation Status

When registering an Edge host with Edge Compute Stack, there are multiple states and steps to follow to get to an active status. The following table describes the activation states and next steps required to progress the host.

Activation Status	Description	Next Steps
Registered	A host registration is added and is awaiting the Edge host to connect with this information.	Build host or power host on.
Not Active	The host is connected to the service and is registered. It is currently inactive and awaiting activation.	Select the host, and the click Activate from the Configure/Hosts screen on the menu.
Activating	The host received its configuration from the service, and is currently activating.	The host will move to Active once it has successfully received its configuration.
Deletion Pending	The host is deleted, the service is awaiting confirmation that the host has been wiped and rebooted back to a pre-registration state.	If the host was removed or rebuilt, click Delete from the Configure/Hosts screen again to forcefully remove the registration from the service.
