The Edge Compute Stack service gives you an overview of all the Edge Compute Stack hosts in an organization. You can configure and monitor these hosts. This can be achieved by registering your Edge Compute Stack hosts with the service to associate them with a site or individual Git repository, and monitor their health.

The Edge Compute Stack service provides multiple ways to register a deplyed host, you can choose which of the methods best works for you, both ultimately result in a registered host with the Edge Computre Stack service. The first method relies on the the hosts vendor, model and serial number as provided by the hardware manufacturer in the BIOS.

The second method uses the provided unique "Activation Key" as found when the host is deployed.

The information used when registering your Edge Compute Stack host, must match the information displayed on the screen when the host is built exactly.
