Due to the transformational nature of the technology being introduced by the vPAC Ready Infrastructure validated solution, training may be necessary for utility personnel who have not yet experienced software-defined architecture. Typically, individuals in this area of the business have proficiency in power systems and related engineering disciplines. However, acquiring the additional skills necessary to install, operate, and maintain the supporting infrastructure for vPAC will not only aid in ensuring deployments meet all critical requirements, but will also provide new perspective. Arming OT personnel with new tools will spur new use cases and further development.
