VMware Edge Network Intelligence supports integration of ServiceNow, which allows to create a ServiceNow instance for each incident.

To integrate ServiceNow with VMware Edge Network Intelligence:

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have setup a Voyance account in your ServiceNow instance, providing the account with webservice access.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation panel, click My Account > Admin Settings.
  2. In the Admin Settings window, click External Integration and then click the ServiceNow tab.
  3. Enter the following parameters:
    Option Description
    Instance Name Enter the ServiceNow Instance Name
    Username Enter the username of your ServiceNow Instance.
    Password Enter the password of your ServiceNow Instance.
  4. Click Verify Instance to test the ServiceNow connection.
  5. Click Create to create the ServiceNow Integration.

Results

The ServiceNow tickets that are created for incidents are listed in the bottom panel. You can filter the tickets by entering a search term, to view specific tickets.
