Disabling Dialog Boxes

To prevent the vmrun utility from failing when you provide user input through a dialog box, you can disable dialog boxes.

The vmrun utility might time out and fail when you use the utility on a virtual machine that requires user input through a dialog box.

To disable dialog boxes, insert the following line in the virtual machine configuration file, the .vmx file.

msg.autoAnswer = TRUE
