What's New

Important Fixes
This release of VMware Fusion addresses the following issue:
- VMware Fusion has an uninitialized stack memory usage vulnerability in the vmxnet3 virtual network adapter that might allow a guest to execute code on the host. The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures project (cve.mitre.org) has assigned the identifier CVE-2018-6981 to this issue.

Resolved Issues
- Fusion 11 sometimes fails to power on a virtual machine as it displays an error message
If hypervisor software, such as Docker or Parallels Desktop, is running on your Mac host before you launch Fusion, an attempt to power on a virtual machine might fail with the following message: "Cannot power on virtual machine: Too many virtual machines."
This compatibility issue is resolved.
