You can uninstall a virtual machine by deleting its files.
One method for uninstalling a virtual machine is to use the Finder to delete the virtual machine package.
Unless you specify a file location for a virtual machine when you create it, Fusion saves the virtual machine package to a default location, which can vary. See Default File Location of a Virtual Machine.
Prerequisites
Shut down or power off the virtual machine.
Exit Fusion.
Procedure
- In the Finder, browse to the virtual-machine location, such as the default
your home directory/Virtual Machines
folder, and select the virtual machine to uninstall. - Move the virtual machine package file to the Trash.
What to do next
Open Fusion. If you see the uninstalled virtual machine in the Virtual Machine Library, right-click it and select Delete.
