You can migrate your existing Windows PC onto your Mac. Fusion recreates your PC as a virtual machine, and you can continue to use your PC applications and files.
Prerequisites
Migrate Your PC is supported for Windows operating systems from Windows XP up to and including Windows 10.
Your Mac must be running Mac OS X 10.11 or later.
Procedure
Set Up Your Mac to Accept the Transfer of Files from Your PC Connect to Your PC for Migration Turn Off UAC for Windows Vista and Later Before Migrating Fusion , you must turn off User Account Control (UAC) before using the Migrate Your PC feature. Install and Run the Fusion PC Migration Agent on Your PC Fusion PC Migration Agent on your PC. Run the Migration Assistant on Your Mac Ensure that VMware Tools is Installed in the Migrated Virtual Machine
