Power on a Virtual Machine to Firmware in Fusion Pro

In Fusion Pro, you can power on or restart a virtual machine to firmware.

The power on to firmware option is available for local and remote virtual machines. If the virtual machine is suspended, the power on to firmware option is not available

The power on to firmware option is supported in Fusion Pro 8.1 and later.

Procedure

• ♦ Click Virtual Machine > Power on to firmware.
  If the virtual machine is powered off, the virtual machine boots directly to firmware. If the virtual machine is powered on, you are prompted to restart your virtual machine. Click Restart.
