Show the Mac Power Supply Status in the Virtual Machine

You can set the virtual machine to display the status of your Mac power supply.

When this feature is enabled, information about the Mac power status is passed to the virtual machine. The virtual machine can display the remaining charge on a battery and suspend or hibernate when the battery charge runs low. This feature is not supported on Mac OS X, OS X, or macOS virtual machines.

Procedure

1. Select Window > Virtual Machine Library.
2. Select a virtual machine in the Virtual Machine Library window and click Settings.
3. Under Other in the Settings window, click Advanced.
4. Select the Pass power status to VM check box.
