Add a Network Adapter

You can add up to ten virtual network adapters to a virtual machine.

Prerequisites

• Familiarize yourself with the various types of network configurations. See Configuring the Network Connection.
• Shut down or power off the virtual machine. You cannot change the setting while the virtual machine is powered on or suspended.

Procedure

1. Select Window > Virtual Machine Library.
2. Select a virtual machine in the Virtual Machine Library window and click Settings.
3. Click Add Device.
4. Click Network Adapter.
5. Click Add.
6. Either select a network configuration from the list or, if you have Fusion Pro, click Configure below the list to create a new network.
