Change the Network Adapter on a Remote Virtual Machine

You can enable and change the virtual network adapter for a virtual machine hosted on a remote server. Your virtual machine will have access to multiple networks.

Prerequisites

Verify that the following conditions are met:

• You have login credentials for the server where the virtual machine is hosted.

• The virtual machine is powered on.

Procedure

1. Select File > Connect to Server.
2. Enter the name of the host server or select a server from the Recent Servers drop-down menu.
3. Enter your login credentials and click Connect.
4. Select Virtual Machine > Settings.
5. Click Network Adapter.
6. Select the network adapter from the Network Connection drop-down menu.
