Members

In the VMware GemFire® Management Console™, the Members tab displays additional details about the running locators and servers of the connected cluster.

GemFire Version

The current version of the connected cluster. For clusters running on the Tanzu Application Service or Kubernetes, this column will show the underlying version of GemFire running. For example, if a cluster is connected and is using VMware GemFire for Tanzu Application Service version 1.14.6, this column will show GemFire version 9.15.3.

Cluster Connection

Users can copy this connection string into a GemFire Shell (gfsh), if needed, to connect to the cluster. The connection string does not include any username, password, or authentication token information. If required by gfsh, these must be provided by the user.

Locators and Servers Tables

The lower section of the user interface displays information about all of the locators and servers currently running in the connected cluster.

Locators

This table displays all of the locators currently running in the connected cluster.

The number next to the “Locators” label indicates the total number of running locators.

The table in this section provides additional details about each locator:

  • Name: The name of the locator.
  • Host: The IP address of the host where the locator is running.
  • Heap Usage: The amount of the JVM heap being used by the locator.
  • CPU Utilization: The percentage of the CPU being used by the locator.
  • Up Time: The amount of time the locator has been running without stopping, restarting, or being shut down.

Servers

This table displays all of the servers currently running in the connected cluster.

The number next to the “Servers” label indicates the total number of running servers.

The table in this section provides additional details about each server:

  • Name: The name of the server.
  • Host: The IP address of the host where the server is running.
  • Port: The port used to connect to the server.
  • Heap Usage: The amount of the JVM heap being used by the server.
  • CPU Utilization: The percentage of the CPU being used by the server.
