VMware provides a separate downloadable package for installing the Greenplum Data Copy utility, gpcopy. The gpcopy utility copies object data from one VMware Greenplum cluster to another for migration purposes.

A VMware Greenplum Data Copy Utility package is versioned independently of VMware Greenplum. Refer to the Release Notes for compatibility information.
