Client and Loader Utility Reference

The Greenplum client and loader tools package includes the following utilities:

• createdb
• createuser
• dropdb
• dropuser
• gpfdist
• gpkafka
• gpload
• gpss
• gpsscli
• pg_dump
• pg_dumpall
• psql

Note

The Windows Greenplum client and loader tools package provides additional libraries and programs, including kinit, kdestroy, and klist. The Windows package does not include the gpkafka, gpsscli, and gpss programs.

The gpload program provided in the Windows package is backwards-compatible with Greenplum Database 5.
