VMware HCX Manager Services from the VMware HCX CLI

You can manage the HCX service using the VMware HCX CLI.

Procedure

1. VMRC or SSH into the HCX Manager.
2. Switch user to root: su –.
3. Type systemctlactionservice_name.

   • Action can be status, stop, start, restart.

   • Service name can be that of a web-engine or an app-engine.

   systemctl status web-engine

   systemctl status web-engine

   systemctl stop web-engine

   systemctl restart web-engine
