View Administrator provides a Web-based management interface for View.
The View Connection Server can have multiple instances that serve as replica servers or security servers. Depending on your View deployment, you can get a View Administrator interface with each instance of a View Connection Server.
Use the following best practices to use View Administrator with a View Connection Server:
Use the host name and IP address of the View Connection Server to log in to View Administrator. Use the View Administrator interface to manage the View Connection Server, and any associated security server or replica server.
In a pod environment, verify that all administrators use the host name and IP address of the same View Connection Server to log in to View Administrator. Do not use the host name and IP address of the load balancer to access a View Administrator web page.
If you use Access Point appliances rather than security servers, you must use the Access Point REST API to manage the Access Point appliances. For more information, see Deploying and Configuring Access Point.
