You can monitor the status and view the properties of RDS hosts in Horizon Administrator.
Procedure
- ♦ In Horizon Administrator, navigate to the page that displays the properties that you want to view.
Properties Action RDS Host, Farm, Desktop Pool, Agent Version, Sessions, Status - In Horizon Administrator, select .
- Click the RDS Hosts tab. Both linked-clone RDS hosts and RDS hosts that are set up manually are displayed.
DNS Name, Type, RDS Farm, Max Number of Connections, Agent Version, Enabled, Status - In Horizon Administrator, select .
- Click the RDS Hosts tab. Only RDS hosts that are set up manually are displayed.
Results
The properties are displayed and have the following meanings:
Property | Description |

RDS Host | Name of the RDS host. |
Farm | Farm to which the RDS host belongs. |
Desktop Pool | RDS desktop pool associated with the farm. |
Agent Version | Version of View Agent or Horizon Agent that runs on the RDS host. |
Sessions | Number of client sessions. |
DNS Name | DNS name of the RDS host. |
Type | Version of Windows Server that runs on the RDS host. |
RDS Farm | Farm to which the RDS host belongs. |
Max Number of Connections | Maximum number of connections that the RDS host can support. |
Enabled | Whether the RDS host is enabled. |
Status | State of the RDS host. See Status of RDS Hosts for a description of the possible states. |
