You must specify machine and pool settings when you configure manual desktop pools. Not all settings apply to all types of manual pools.
Settings for Manual Desktop Pools lists the settings that apply to manual desktop pools that are configured with these properties:
- Dedicated user assignments
- Floating user assignments
- Managed machines (vCenter Server virtual machines)
- Unmanaged machines
These settings also apply to a manual pool that contains a single machine.
