You must specify machine and pool settings when you configure manual desktop pools. Not all settings apply to all types of manual pools.
Table 1 lists the settings that apply to manual desktop pools that are configured with these properties:
- Dedicated user assignments
- Floating user assignments
- Managed machines (vCenter Server virtual machines)
- Unmanaged machines
These settings also apply to a manual pool that contains a single machine.
