With the Real-Time Audio-Video feature, if multiple audio-video devices are connected to the local client system, only one of the devices is used in the remote desktop or published application. To specify which webcam or microphone is preferred, you can configure Real-Time Audio-Video settings in Horizon Client for Chrome.
If it is available, the preferred device is used in the remote desktop or published application. If the preferred device is not available, another device of that device type is used.
Prerequisites
- Verify that an administrator has configured the Real-Time Audio-Video feature, as described in Horizon Remote Desktop Features and GPOs on the VMware Horizon Documentation portal.
- Verify that an audio-video device, such as a webcam, microphone, or speaker, is installed and operational on the local client system.
- Connect to a server.
