If you want to modify the properties to be optimized or their values, you can create a custom template using the Windows OS Optimization Tool for VMware Horizon UI.
- On the Windows OS Optimization Tool for VMware Horizon UI, click the Template tab.
- Click the Copy and Edit button on the bottom right of the window.
- In the Copy and Edit dialog box, enter a name for the custom template and click OK.
The new template is added to the My Templates folder in the top left pane of the window.
- To add a new group of properties, perform the following steps: .
- Select Modifications to Standard Image and click Add Group.
- Enter a name and description for the group, select the level, and click Add.
- To add steps to the group, follow steps 5 and 6.
- To add a step to an existing group, select the group and click Add Step.
- Complete the properties section and click Add.
- You can move steps up or down, or delete steps as appropriate by clicking the corresponding button.
- Before you save the changes made to the default template, you can cancel these changes and revert to the default template by clicking Reset. Changes cannot be reverted after you save the edited template.
- Click Save.
