If a client computer has more than one webcam and microphone, you can configure a preferred webcam and microphone that Real-Time Audio-Video redirects to the remote desktop or published application. These devices can be built in or connected to the client computer.
Real-Time Audio-Video redirects the preferred webcam if it is available. If the preferred webcam is not available, Real-Time Audio-Video uses the first webcam that is provided by system enumeration.
- Windows client computer
- Select a preferred webcam or microphone by configuring Real-Time Audio-Video settings in the Horizon Client Settings dialog box.
- Mac client computer
- Specify a preferred webcam or microphone by using the Mac defaults system. For more information, see the Horizon Client for Mac Guide document.
- Linux client computer
- Specify a preferred webcam by editing a configuration file. To select a default microphone, you can configure the Sound control in the Linux operating system on the client computer. For more information, see the Horizon Client for Linux Guide document.
