Create a Custom Template by Exporting the Default Template

You can create a new template by editing the built-in template.

You export the default template, edit it, and then import it to Windows OS Optimization Tool for VMware Horizon.

1. On the Windows OS Optimization Tool for VMware Horizon UI, click Export Template.
2. Select the folder where you want to save the template.
3. Edit the XML file as appropriate and save it.
   Note: You can revert the changes you made by clicking Reset. This works only if you click Revert before saving the edited file.
4. Click Import Template and select the edited XML file.

   The imported template is now available for use with the OS Optimization Tool.
