As a cloud administrator, you can enable, disable, and delete user accounts, and change passwords for accounts.

Prerequisites

Verify that you are logged in to the VMware Integrated OpenStack dashboard as a cloud administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the VMware Integrated OpenStack dashboard, select the admin project from the drop-down menu in the title bar.
  2. Select Identity > Users.

    Action

    Enable or disable a user account.

    1. Select the user account to edit.

    2. In the Actions column, click Edit and select Enable User or Disable User from the drop-down list.

    Delete one or more user accounts.

    1. Select the user accounts to delete.

    2. Click Delete Users.

    3. At the prompt, confirm the deletion.

    Change a password

    1. Select the user account to edit.

    2. In the Actions column, clickEdit and then select Change Password.

    3. Change the password as required.
