You install the VMware Event Proctor mobile application, so that lab users can easily communicate with you using the proctor application if the users need any help or request while taking a lab.
To install the VMware Event Proctor application on an android mobile device:
Procedure
- On the VMware Event Management Proctor App page, enter your organization name in the Organization field box.
- For better user experience, add the VMware Lab Platform Proctor application to your device home screen page. On your screen, click Add VLP Proctor to Home Screen.
Alternatively, you can also add the application to home screen from the browser. Click the three ellipses on top-right of the page and open the menu options. From the list, select Add to Home screen.
- To install the application, click Install.
Note:If you do not install the application and use the web browser version of the application, the menu items in the menu bar overlap and can impact the seamless user experience.

- When the application is installed on the mobile device, you can access the application from the device dashboard.
- To change the settings for your profile, click the
list icon and select Settings from the list.
- To view the seat map of the event, on the bottom pane, click Seat Map.
A seat map is the graphical representation of the event’s layout. Proctors can view a seat map and get live information of seats in the event.
