A lab template is a virtual machine image that is loaded with an operating system, applications, and data. The lab templates ensure that lab environments are configured consistently for all lab participants.
The following exercises show how to deploy a lab template containing a single Linux VM from a base template in the public catalog, how to power on the lab template and log in to the Linux VM, and how to power off the lab template, and create a template by copying it in to your catalog.
