You use the Cloud vApps page to manage the cloud vApps that VMware Lab Platform need to use to deploy a lab.

To open the Cloud vApps page:

  1. From the navigation pane, click Cloud Management > Cloud vApps.

  2. Select the check boxes for all the cloud organizations that you want to update.

  3. To open the action drop-down menu, click the three vertical ellipses on the top of the table.

    1. Select an action item from the menu. The following table lists the actions that you can perform on a single cloud vApp.

      Options

      Description

      Consoles

You can access and open a VM console for your vApp from the Cloud vApps page.

      Delete

The Delete cloud vApp action deletes the selected vApps. This action is useful when you want to delete a corrupted prepopulated vApp. This action removes the vApp from both the VMware Lab Platform and the cloud.

      Force delete

The Force delete cloud vApp action deletes the selected vApp immediately.

      Disown

The Disown cloud vApp action is available only for non-Cloud Services Provider customer accounts, and this action permanently removes the selected vApps from VMware Lab Platform, but retains the vApps (unchanged) in the cloud. This action is useful when you think there might be a problem with the vApp functioning in the cloud. In such a case, you can disown the vApp and the problematic vApp will not affect your customer account.

  4. To perform bulk actions on cloud vApps, click the ellipses on top of the page and select the action operation.
