You use the VMware Lab Platform SaaS Consoles feature to deploy and deliver a SaaS lab.

To deploy a VMware Cloud Services Provider SaaS lab in VMware Lab Platform:

Prerequisites

Before you start deploying the lab, you must set up an environment that provides external services as a lab to users.

Procedure

  1. Add the SaaS console configuration properties in SaaS Consoles, click Lab Management > SaaS Consoles > Create New.

    In this example, sample SaaS details for a test SaaS console instance is added.

    You use the left-navigation pane to select the SaaS Consoles menu option.

    Add details for the SaaS console using the SaaS forms.

    You can add the SaaS console configuration properties, such as username, password, or any other custom property that you want to share with the user while using the lab. The output values for the configuration property are displayed in the lab manual.

    cspPassword:saasCspLabEnvironment.orgOwnerPassword,

    In the VMware Cloud Services Provider Integration form, add the VMware Cloud Services Provider ID of the VMware Cloud Services Provider service and enable it.

    To save your changes, click Update SaaS Console.

  2. Click Update Lab.
