Import a lab template from another cloud in VMware Lab Platform

You can import a lab template from a cloud (VMware Cloud Director) that is not registered in VMware Lab Platform.

Procedure

1. To open the Lab Templates page, select Lab Management > Lab Builder .
2. Click the ellipsis next to the + Create New tab, and click Import External Cloud Template.
3. Enter the cloud credential details in the Import External Cloud Template page.
4. Click Next.
5. From the templates list, select a template and a catalog.
6. To import the cloud in VMware Lab Platform, click Import .

   If the cloud template is successfully imported, a success message is displayed on the system. To view the status of the import, see the status progress in the Content Migration Tasks widget.
