Before you can use VMware Live Site Recovery, you must connect the Site Recovery Manager pair to VMware Live Recovery.

You must connect your site pair to VMware Live Recovery to take advantage of a subscription based payment model. This task assumes you have already configured a Site Recovery Manager version 9.0 or later site pair, and that the sites in the pair are connected.

If you have multiple Site Recovery Manager instances deployed within a single vCenter Server, when you configure one instance to connect to the cloud and associate with an Organization, all other instances receive the same configuration.

Procedure

  1. Log in to VMware Cloud Services at https://console.cloud.vmware.com by using your VMware account.
  2. Under Services > My Services, click the Launch service link on the VMware Live Recovery tile.
  3. On the Existing or New page, click Add an existing Site Recovery pair and click Next.
