After passing the registration and validation steps for publisher onboarding, the VMware Marketplace team creates a publisher account for your organization.

As a VMware Marketplace user with a publisher account, you get access to the publisher portal where you provide the content and deployment resources for your solutions.

To activate the publisher portal for your publisher account, you must accept the VMware Marketplace legal agreement. The legal agreement is a standard agreement that covers the BYOL and Free commercial options available to publishers in VMware Marketplace. As a publisher, you review, download, and accept the legal agreement in-product within VMware Marketplace when you submit your first solution.

After receiving the submission, the VMware Marketplace team reviews the contents of your submission and provides feedback. You might receive change requests for your submission. As a final step, the VMware Marketplace team publishes the solution to the VMware Marketplace catalog.
