When you publish a solution through VMware Marketplace, you can modify the solution listing and provide an update to your customers.

The Update option is available for all solution listings, regardless of their status.

Note: If you update a published solution that has already passed validation and has been listed in the public catalog, it is resubmitted for validation before the updated information becomes available to customers.


Log in to VMware Marketplace.


  1. From the left navigation, open Service Management.
  2. On the Service Management page, locate the solution you want to update.
  3. On the solution's tile, click the Update button.
    The Update Product wizard opens.
  4. Use the wizard navigation to move through the steps and add or modify information for the solution listing.
  5. On the last step, click Finish.


A notification for a successful submission for review displays on the screen.
