As a content publisher, you have two ways of listing solutions in the VMware Marketplace catalog. If you want customers to discover relevant marketing information for your solution without the ability to directly download or deploy files in their environment, select the List publishing option. To enable direct download or deployment of your solution from the VMware Marketplace catalog, select the Bring Your Own Licence (BYOL) / Trial option.

How do I choose a publishing option

The two publishing options offer different levels of interaction between VMware Marketplace customers and your solution. You select a publishing option on the first step of the publishing process. All solution listings go through a process of review and validation during which it is visible only to you. You can edit or delete a solution listing draft you created.

Once your solution is approved and published in the marketplace catalog, you cannot change the listing option you selected during publishing.
