You can migrate end users from Windows XP, or Windows Vista, or from Windows 7 machines to Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 machines. This is relevant for if you are using Windows OEM SLP licenses, and supports both disaster recovery and hardware refresh scenarios.

You can use the migrate to Windows OS replacement devices operation for the following operating systems:

  • Windows XP 32-bit to Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit

  • Windows Vista 32-bit to Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit

  • Windows Vista 64-bit to Windows 7 64-bit

  • Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 8 32 bit or 64-bit
