Placement Behavior of Dual Stack VIP and BGP Peers

If IPV6 Infrastructure Support is enabled, then the following behaviour is observed. To configure IPv6 BGP virtual service:

Procedure

1. Navigate to Applications > Virtual Services.
2. Click CREATE VIRTUAL SERVICE.
3. Select Advanced Setup.
4. Under VIP Address section, select Create VS VIP from the VS VIP drop-down menu. Configure the IPv4 VIP Adress and IPv6 VIP Address.
5. Under Pool section, create a pool by providing the required details. Click Next in the Step 3: Analytics tab.
6. Under Step 4: Advanced, select the Advertise VIP via BGP check box to enable BGP advertising for the configured virtual service.
