An optional field deactivate_ip6_discovery
is available while configuring Service Engine group properties which, when enabled, drops all the notifications related to IPv6 addresses and routes. You cannot configure a static IPv6 address to Service Engine interfaces when the deactivate_ipv6_discovery
is enabled.
Log into the NSX Advanced Load Balancer CLI and use the deactivate_ipv6_discovery
command under the configure serviceenginegroup <se-group name>
mode to disable IPv6 learning for the selected Service Engine group.
For deactivate_ip6_discovery
to take effect, reboot all the Service Engines present in the specific Service Engine group.
[admin-controller] configure serviceenginegroup <se-group name> [admin-controller]: serviceenginegroup> deactivate_ipv6_discovery save
Use the show serviceenginegroup <se_group_name>
command to check if the knob is enabled or not.
[admin-controller]: show serviceenginegroup <se_group_name> | deactivate_ipv6_discovery | True |+-----------------------------------------+-----------------------------+
