To configure password-less SSH access to the Controller running on VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer use the NSX Advanced Load Balancer UI.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Configure > vApp Options > Deployment.
  2. Scroll to Properties and select the avi.sysadmin-public-key.CONTROLLER value and enter the required details.
    SSH public key location under Configure > vApp settings
  3. Click Save.

Results

This creates a file named authorized_keys_admin in the /etc/ssh directory with the contents of the ssh public key.
