Creating Roles using the GCP Console

This section details the usage of GCP console for role creation.

To create the custom role:

Procedure

1. Navigate toIAM & Admin > Roles from GCP Console page and click CREATE ROLE.
2. Specify a Title, Description, and ID for the role in the Create Role screen.
3. Select the role launch stage as alpha, beta, available or diabled from Role Launch Stage drop-down list.
4. Click Add Permissions and include the required permissions. You can create role for each project such as Service Engine, Network project, and Storage project.
5. Click Save.
